We have been in Sveti Stefan for 4 days now and tomorrow we go home. We had a bit of a shock when we arrived here. We had a swimming pool!
On the first night we went to a really nice restaurant called Famelja Kentera. They did amazing soufflés! In fact it was so nice there that we went again another two times. However, last night there was a really posh German family that were being really rude (and ridiculous). The man was complaining that "the wine is so hot it's burning my fingers". He also kept demanding "more ice, more ice". They made so much of a fuss that, at one point, there were 5 waiters hovering around their table. Another palaver!
On the third day we went to the beach where a budgie appeared, flew onto my head and stayed with us for the next 10 minutes.
There are some really posh places in Sveti Stefan, such as the Aman resort which is actually on the Sveti Stefan island. Just to use the sunbeds for the day, you have to pay 75€! Yes....75€!
I am quite sad to be going home tomorrow but I am looking forward to seeing family and friends.
